Hi and welcome to my page. My name is Tayo, I am a mental health & wellness coach with over 20+ years’ experience in the wellness space.

I have specialties and training in various areas that support the work I do in the health and fitness space including:

However, what I believe to be the most important attribute I bring to this job, is my devotion and passion for all things health and wellness.

I advise clients on how to maximise their physical, mental and emotional health through a holistic approach which has some basic foundational pillars at the root.

These pillars include nutrition and eating for a healthy gut, optimising physical health through exercise and nutrition, identifying reasons for issues such as bloating, constipation, lethargy, joint pain, depression and anxiety to name a few. Other pillars include strategies for managing and reducing stress, creating a harmonious work/life balance, the importance of eating real food, emotional regulation, developing good sleep techniques etc.

Another important aspect of my work is mental health. From a holistic perspective, treating other areas of wellness without addressing the subject of good mental health would be incomplete. I coach clients to learn how to manage periods of anxiety and depression but also to stay on top of their mental health through a variety of strategies that includes exercise, learning how to remove toxic relationships, the value of authenticity, having a positive mindset, spending time in nature and getting to know who you are and of course, how to love yourself and improve your self-esteem.

I have been a mental health advocate for a very long time and I have a passion to help others reach their full potential by identifying issues that may be holding them back and developing strategies to improve their lives. Whether, this involves managing anxiety or depression, developing strategies to manage perimenopause, learning how to regulate your emotions, identifying and shedding limiting beliefs or getting healthier and fitter, my desire is to help others become the best version of themselves and for them to lead an authentic life as that is how I believe we find true happiness and contentment.

Many of the emotional problems people face in today’s world can be traced back to low self-esteem, a negative self-image and a negative mindset. Many of us do not realise how much a negative mindset and a negative self-image can hold us back from living the life we dream of. Having a negative mindset affects every aspect of your life from your career to family life to relationships and beyond. No matter what challenges you have faced and where your limiting beliefs have come from, it is possible to overcome them. I coach clients to see past failures and setbacks and be empowered to go on to live a fulfilling and purposeful life.

There is a current epidemic of modern day diseases such as digestive issues like IBS, auto immune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis and lupus, anxiety, depression, obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, PCOS and so much more. What many people do not realise is that many of these issues can be linked to poor diets, poor lifestyle choices, unhealthy guts and inflammation in the body. One of my areas of work is to help you identify your symptoms and teach you strategies to heal your gut. The gut is shown to contain over 90% of the mood elevating hormone called Serotonin therefore an unhealthy gut could also be the cause of or contribute to anxiety and depression. The gut and the brain have very strong connections and therefore both play a huge role in your mental and physical health.

I work collaboratively with clients to identify any obstacles, limiting beliefs or negative mindsets that are blocking your ability to be happy and content so we can set you on the path to living the kind of life you dream of.
